Gold price increases by Rs5,300 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24 karat gold saw a notable rise of Rs5,300 on Wednesday, bringing the per tola price to Rs299,600.

This is compared to Rs294,300 on the previous trading day.

According to All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association (ASSJA), the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also surged by Rs4,158, climbing from Rs252,314 to Rs256,859.

Gold in 22 karat purity experienced a similar jump, with 10 grams increasing by Rs4,158, reaching Rs235,454 from Rs231,296.

The price of silver also saw an uptick, with the per tola price rising by Rs36 to Rs3,350. For 10 grams of silver, the cost went up by Rs31.08, reaching Rs2,872.08.

In the international market, the price of gold increased by $53, rising from $2,815 to $2,868 per ounce, reflecting a shift in the international market that likely influenced the local price trends.
