Pakistan attaches great importance to stronger ties with Sri Lanka: DPM Dar

Islamabad (Web Desk): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar has reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further enhancing bilateral ties with Sri Lanka in all areas of mutual interest.

He expressed these views during a meeting with a delegation from the National Defence College of Sri Lanka, which called on him at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad on Thursday.

The visiting delegation, currently in Pakistan on a foreign study tour, received a detailed briefing on Pakistan’s foreign policy priorities as well as the key challenges facing the region.

Welcoming the Sri Lankan delegation, Dar extended his best wishes for a productive visit and an enjoyable stay in Pakistan, while highlighting the longstanding friendly relations between the two countries.
