PSX gains 5,800 points in a week as KSE-100 Index surges 3.22%

Karachi (Web Desk): Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) posted a strong weekly performance, with the benchmark KSE-100 Index gaining 3.22% during the trading week.

The index surged by 5,800 points to close at 185,372 points, reflecting continued investor confidence and positive market sentiment.

Throughout the week, the KSE-100 Index traded within a range of 7,559 points, indicating active market participation and notable price movements.

Trading activity remained robust, with more than 4.32 billion shares changing hands during the week. The total value of traded shares stood at Rs238 billion.

Meanwhile, the market capitalization of the Pakistan Stock Exchange increased by Rs628 billion over the week, reaching Rs20.762 trillion by the close of trading.
