Islamabad (Web Desk): Two members of Panama Investigation Joint Investigation (JIT) team on Tuesday reached Doha to record the statement of Qatari Prince Hamad bin Jassim.
According to sources, Irfan Naeem Mangi from the National Accountability Bureau and Brigadier Kamran Khurshid from Military Intelligence arrived in Doha to record the prince’s statement.
They were expected to return to Islamabad later the same day.
Earlier, JIT had submitted a report in the Supreme Court, stating that the Qatari prince were reluctant to visit Pakistan to record his statement due to security concerns however, later he opted to record his statement with the JIT if it travels to Qatar to do so.
On Monday, Prime Minister's Political Adviser Asif Kirmani addressed to media and said, “The JIT report cannot be completed without recording the statement of the Qatari prince.”
