Islamabad (Web Desk): Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has commended the country’s security forces for carrying out a series of successful intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), saying their latest achievements reflect outstanding professionalism, exceptional bravery, and high operational standards under the government’s Azm-e-Istehkam initiative aimed at strengthening national security.
Referring to the recent operation in Lakki Marwat, Naqvi praised the security personnel for their swift and decisive action against militants.
He said their prompt response resulted in the elimination of several attackers while also thwarting what were believed to be planned terrorist activities.
The interior minister said that the mission once again demonstrated the unwavering dedication of the security forces to defending the country against militant threats.
Naqvi said that the entire nation holds in high regard the courage, sacrifices, and accomplishments of the security forces in restoring and preserving peace across KP.
He noted that their relentless efforts have played a vital role in maintaining stability in the province.
The minister reaffirmed that intelligence-based operations would continue until terrorist networks are completely dismantled, stressing that the government remains committed to sustaining pressure on militant groups through targeted and intelligence-driven counterterrorism actions.
He further stated that the campaign against terrorism is a collective national responsibility and emphasized that the people of Pakistan stand firmly beside the country’s security forces in protecting peace and stability.
The interior minister said that that the government will continue to prioritize intelligence-based operations as part of its broader strategy to prevent terrorist attacks and strengthen law and order throughout the country.
