Islamabad (Web Desk): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry on Friday termed an audio leak attributed to him as ‘fake’.
In the alleged audio leak that surfaced on social media on Friday, Fawad Chaudhry and his brother Advocate Faisal Chaudhry, can be heard talking purportedly about superior court judges.
In their conversation, the PTI leader is purportedly heard giving instructions to his brother to arrange a meeting between Lahore High Court (LHC) chief justice and Supreme Court (SC) Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial.
Talking about Supreme Court judge Mazahar Ali Naqvi, Fawad Ch tells his brother to inform the SC judge that a truck is waiting for him.
To this, Faisal is allegedly heard assuring his brother that he will look into the matter the next day and "after asking them" he would "take care of it".
However, in a tweet, the PTI leader dismissed the recording as fake.
"Another fake audio has been thrown in the market in my name. This audio has nothing to do with me," Fawad Chaudhry said, adding that neither did he meet the chief justice of Lahore High Court (LHC), nor did I ask him to help Justice Mazahir.
