Islamabad (Web Desk): South African Air Force Chief Holds Talks with General Sahir Shamshad at Joint Staff Headquarters

Lieutenant General Wiseman Simo Mbambo, Chief of the South African Air Force, paid an official visit to the Joint Staff Headquarters in Islamabad, where he met with Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza.

Upon his arrival, a ceremonial guard of honour was presented by a contingent from the tri-services of Pakistan.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the two senior military leaders engaged in discussions on strengthening bilateral defense ties, military collaboration, and areas of mutual strategic interest. The conversation also covered key regional and global security developments.

General Sahir briefed the visiting commander on Pakistan’s regional security outlook and its ongoing efforts to maintain peace and stability. In appreciation, Lieutenant General Mbambo praised the professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces and recognized their significant contributions and sacrifices in counterterrorism operations.
