9th ,10th Muharram declared public holidays: cabinet division issues official notification

Islamabad (Web Desk): The Government of Pakistan has declared a two-day public holiday throughout the country to observe the occasion of Ashura.

As per a notification released by the Cabinet Division, all government and semi-government offices will remain closed on the 9th and 10th of Muharram, corresponding to July 5th and 6th (Saturday and Sunday).

This decision, approved by the Prime Minister, applies to all institutions that follow a five or six-day working week schedule.
