Instagram imposes limit on hashtags in posts

California  (Web Desk): A major change is reportedly coming to Instagram that may not sit well with users. The platform has started limiting the number of hashtags that can be used in posts. Previously, users could include numerous hashtags to enhance post visibility under various topics, but now reports suggest that Instagram restricts users to a maximum of three hashtags per post.

When users attempt to add more than three hashtags, they receive a notice informing them of the limit. Although Instagram has not officially announced this change, many users have experienced it as part of a test phase. It’s possible that the feature is being gradually rolled out or is currently available only to a select group of users.

If you're someone who regularly uses a lot of hashtags in your posts, this change may affect you in the near future. Since Instagram has not provided any official clarification, it remains unclear when this limitation will be fully enforced.
