Security forces continue IBOs under Operation 11 Garaj in KP, target militant hideouts in Bajaur

Peshawar (Web Desk): Security forces have stepped up intelligence-driven operations under Operation 11 Garaj across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) over the past two months, targeting militant strongholds and the networks providing them with logistical support, security officials said.

According to security sources, the latest action was carried out in the Shakro area of Bajaur, where troops launched a successful intelligence-based raid that resulted in the destruction of several militant hideouts.

The sources said the operation left a number of militants dead while others were injured. 
During the continuing campaign, security personnel also detained several alleged facilitators and recovered a substantial stockpile of weapons and ammunition.

Officials further stated that improvised explosive devices (IEDs) planted by militants were discovered and safely neutralised as part of Operation 11 Garaj.

The ongoing operations are being backed by ground forces and quadcopter surveillance, allowing security personnel to monitor militant activity more effectively.

The sustained pressure has forced militants to retreat from populated areas, increasing the success of IBOs, the sources added.

They stressed that protecting civilians remains a key priority, with every operation planned carefully to safeguard lives and property while avoiding harm to local communities.

Security sources reiterated that the campaign will continue without interruption until terrorism is eliminated and long-term peace is fully restored across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
