Rawalpindi (Web Desk): The Rawalpindi Traffic Police have announced a mobile van campaign from September 2 to 7 to simplify the process of obtaining driving licenses. This initiative aims to provide residents across various areas of the district with convenient access to licensing services close to their homes, helping them avoid long waiting times.
According to the schedule, the mobile van will be stationed in Skot village of Tehsil Kalar Syedan on September 2, followed by a visit to Kuri Dwal village in Tehsil Gujar Khan on September 3. On September 4, the service will be available near Fawara Chowk in Raja Bazaar, and on September 5 at Jhawaara Packet, near Dhimal Camp.
The van will be at Gulzar-e-Quaid on Old Airport Road on September 6, and on the final day, September 7, it will serve residents near the Old Warn Depot in Saddar. Notably, September 7 is dedicated specifically for rickshaw drivers.
Traffic officials stated that the campaign’s goal is to bring licensing services directly to citizens, sparing them the hassle of visiting offices and standing in long queues.
