Iran's IRGC claims launching attack on Israeli PM Netanyahu's office, air force chief’s residence

Tehran/Jerusalem: The Middle East has entered an extremely perilous phase after Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed direct missile strikes on the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the residence of the Air Force chief. Iranian official sources stated that the current safety and whereabouts of Netanyahu remain uncertain.

The IRGC’s official news agency, Sepah News, released an urgent statement confirming that the operation was sudden and targeted two key locations: Netanyahu’s central office in Tel Aviv and the home of Israeli Air Force Commander Tomer Bar.

According to reports, Iran employed its domestically produced Khyber Shekan ballistic missiles in the surprise attack. Defense experts note that these missiles possess the following capabilities:

Range: 2,000 kilometers, sufficient to strike any location in Israel.

Warhead: Can carry an explosive payload weighing 1,500 kilograms.

These missiles are recognized for their high speed and ability to evade defense systems such as Iron Dome and Patriot batteries.

The IRGC’s statement has sparked international concern, noting that “Netanyahu’s fate is currently unknown, and the results of the attack along with further details will be released later.”

The strike comes at a time when Israel was reportedly preparing major operations against Hezbollah.
