Israel considers full occupation of Gaza or military operations despite ceasefire agreement

Gaza City (Web Desk): Despite a recent ceasefire agreement, Israel has begun to consider various options to either continue its military operations in Gaza or fully occupy the region.

According to reports, Israeli military officials, in discussions with U.S. authorities, have expressed concerns that the U.S. strategy for disarming Palestinian militants is unclear, and they are trying to regain their strength.

Israeli media reports indicate that Israeli military officials have cited delays in the second phase of the U.S. plan, which includes the deployment of international forces and the formation of a civilian government in Gaza. Israel insists that Palestinian militants be allowed to leave Gaza and be disarmed, while a previous suggestion under the former U.S. administration to evacuate militants from the Rafah region has already failed.

Under a ceasefire agreement brokered by the U.S. with the support of Egypt and Qatar, Israeli forces control approximately 55% of Gaza. However, Israel has not yet reduced its military presence behind the "Yellow Line." Reports indicate that Israel also insists on continuing military operations in Gaza and targeting militants.

On the global stage, several countries are attempting to mediate a resolution to the crisis, but the situation has become more complicated due to obstacles Israel is placing in the way of a solution. There are significant differences in the positions of both sides regarding a ceasefire and the potential establishment of a civilian government, which are hindering the path to peace in the region.
