Security forces kill 8 Indian-sponsored terrorists along Pak-Afghan border in North Waziristan

Rawalpindi (Web Desk): Eight Khwarij belonging to Indian proxy Fitna al Khwarij have been killed by security forces along Pak-Afghan border in North Waziristan, the military’s media wing said on Thursday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), movement of a group of khwarij along Pakistan-Afghanistan border in North Waziristan District was picked up by the security forces.

“The troops effectively engaged this group of khwarij. As a result of precise and skillful engagement, eight khwarij were eliminated,” the statment said.

It added that weapons and ammunition were also recovered from Indian sponsored killed khwarij.

The military’s media wing said that sanitisation operation is being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored Kharji in the area.

“The engagement once again substantiates our repeated stance regarding abject failure of Afghan Taliban regime to ensure effective border management on their side of the border. It called upon Afghan Taliban Regime to fulfill its obligations and deny the use of Afghan soil by khwarij and involvement of its citizens in terrorism inside Pakistan,” the ISPR said.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have hailed Pakistan’s Security Forces for their recent operation in North Waziristan, which successfully targeted Fitna-al-Khawarij militants and led to the death of eight terrorists near the Pak-Afghan border.

In a statement issued by the presidency, President Zardari praised the security personnel for their swift and professional response, describing their efforts as a source of immense national pride.

He underscored the vital role of the forces in protecting Pakistan’s sovereignty and securing its borders, while urging the Afghan interim administration to ensure that its territory is not exploited for attacks against Pakistan.

Similarly, PM Shehbaz, in a statement from his office, commended the dedication and skill of the officers and troops involved in the operation.

He lauded them for eliminating eight Khawarij militants and reiterated that Pakistan’s campaign against terrorism would persist until the menace is fully eradicated.

The prime minister affirmed that he, along with the nation, stands firmly with the armed forces in safeguarding the country from terrorist threats.
