Govt increases petrol price by Rs2.43, diesel by Rs3.02 per lite for next 15 days 

Islamabad (Web Desk): The federal government has once again revised fuel prices upward, approving an increase of up to Rs3.02 per litre for the next fortnight.

The new rates became effective from November 1, 2025.

According to a notification released by the Ministry of Finance on Friday, the price of petrol has been lifted by Rs2.43 per litre, moving from Rs263.02 to Rs265.45, while high-speed diesel has witnessed a rise of Rs3.02 per litre, taking the new rate from Rs275.42 to Rs278.44.

Officials explained that the latest revision was prompted by the recent escalation in global crude oil prices.

However, the adjustment is expected to further strain household budgets, as citizens continue to grapple with persistent inflation and mounting living expenses.
