OGRA hikes LPG price for June

Islamabad (Web Desk): Amid ongoing severe tensions in the Middle East, global and domestic energy markets continue to face pressure, impacting prices of essential commodities.

Following an increase in petroleum product prices, the government has now raised the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), widely used by low and middle-income households.

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority) (OGRA) has increased the LPG price by Rs4.95 per kilogram for June. As a result, the price of a 11.8 kg domestic cylinder has gone up by Rs58.51.

According to an official notification issued by OGRA, the new price of a domestic LPG cylinder for June has been fixed at Rs3,643.41. The per kilogram LPG price has now reached Rs308.76.

The notification further stated that the revised prices have come into immediate effect across the country.
