Islamabad (Web Desk): The federal government has announced a revision in the prices of petroleum products for the next 15 days, effective from Tuesday.
According to a notification issued by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), the price of petrol has been increased by Rs. 8.36 per liter, taking the new rate to Rs. 266.79, up from the previous Rs. 258.43.
Similarly, the price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) has witnessed a Rs. 10.39 per liter hike, bringing the new rate to Rs. 272.98, compared to the earlier Rs. 262.59.
The increase comes amid global fluctuations in oil prices and adjustments in local taxation policies. The revised prices will remain in effect for the upcoming fortnight.
