Gold price decreases by Rs700 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24 karat per tola gold fell by Rs700 on Thursday, settling at Rs287,200, down from Rs287,900 in the previous trading session.

According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association (ASSJA), the cost of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also decreased by Rs600, now priced at Rs246,228, compared to Rs246,828.

In addition, the price for 10 grams of 22 karat gold dropped to Rs225,709 from Rs226,259.

Meanwhile, silver prices experienced an increase, with per tola silver rising by Rs100 to reach Rs3,450. The cost of 10 grams of silver also went up by Rs85.73, now standing at Rs2,957.81.

Moreover, in the international market, gold prices declined by $7, dropping to $2,777 from $2,784, as reported by the association.
