Karachi (Web Desk): Renowned singer Sahir Ali Bega has urged Pakistani authorities to ban Indian music in the country.
In a recent interview, he highlighted that whenever there is a minor dispute between India and Pakistan, India imposes restrictions on Pakistani artists. “For example, our songs are banned on Spotify in India, yet Indian music continues to play freely in Pakistan,” he said.
Bega stressed that if Pakistani music is restricted in India, then Indian songs should also face a ban in Pakistan to protect and honor the local music industry.
He added, “Since India started this, it is important for both the public and the government to stand with our artists.”
