Washington (Web Desk): US President Donald Trump has announced that a major agreement on Gaza has been reached under the "Board of Peace" initiative, outlining a phased plan to disarm Hamas and pave the way for broader political and security changes in the enclave.
According to President Trump, the agreement provides for the gradual disarmament of Hamas. Once that process is completed, Israeli forces will begin a phased withdrawal from Gaza.
Trump described the deal as a significant step towards establishing a new Palestinian administration in Gaza, saying it is intended to lay the groundwork for lasting peace and stability in the region.
