Lahore (Web Desk): Senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and former Federal Minister, Khawaja Saad Rafique, has announced his decision not to contest the NA-129 by-election. In a statement, he mentioned that he had received numerous messages from party workers and leaders encouraging him to participate, but he emphasized that it is the fundamental right of local candidates to contest such elections.
He further stated that due to certain unavoidable political reasons, he would not be participating as a candidate in this by-election.
Additionally, Khawaja Saad Rafique met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and they discussed the country's political situation and economic challenges in detail. He praised the Prime Minister's efforts in steering the country’s economy in a better direction.
This decision may have an impact on the internal political dynamics of PML-N and could influence future political strategies within the party.
