Islamabad (Web Desk): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has underlined the critical importance of fostering unity and harmony within the Muslim Ummah in light of current challenges
He held a telephonic conversation with Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on Wednesday.
During the conversation, PM Shehbaz expressed Pakistan’s steadfast solidarity with Saudi Arabia and stressed that regional peace and stability must be upheld through dialogue and diplomatic engagement.
He also conveyed his respectful regards and warm wishes to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, as well as to the Crown Prince.
PM Shehbaz extended gratitude to the Crown Prince for his continued warmth and friendship toward Pakistan.
The two leaders reaffirmed their determination to strengthen the deep-rooted fraternal ties between their nations, which have reached unprecedented heights in recent months.
In turn, the Crown Prince thanked the prime minister for the call and highlighted Saudi Arabia’s keen interest in expanding cooperation with Pakistan across all fields of mutual benefit. He also expressed his intention to undertake an official visit to Pakistan in the coming year.
Earlier, PM Shehbaz called for maintaining peace and stability through dialogue and diplomacy.
He was talking to Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmad Al-Malkiy, who called on him on Wednesday.
According to a statement issued by the PM House, the two leaders engaged in a warm and cordial discussion, reviewing recent developments both in the region and around the world.
During the meeting, the prime minister sent his heartfelt greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, as well as to Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
He expressed satisfaction with the strong and enduring relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and reaffirmed his commitment to further nurturing the deep fraternal bonds shared by the two nations.
Prime Minister Shehbaz also thanked Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for his steadfast support and patronage, noting that it had significantly strengthened ties between the countries.
Reflecting on his meetings with the Crown Prince over the past year, he described them as highly productive, contributing meaningfully to elevating bilateral relations to new heights.
He expressed gratitude for Saudi Arabia’s unwavering assistance during Pakistan’s times of need and praised the Kingdom’s constructive efforts in promoting regional stability.
Ambassador Al-Malkiy conveyed warm greetings from King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
He reiterated the Kingdom’s desire to expand cooperation with Pakistan in all areas of mutual interest.
