Islamabad (Staff report) - Justice Mian Saqib Nisar will take oath as Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) on Saturday (today).
President Mamnoon Hussain will administer the oath at a ceremony in Islamabad.
Saqib will replace Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali who retired on Friday.
Justice Mian Saqib Nisar will become the 25th Chief Justice of Pakistan and will remain in office for two years and 17 days. He will retire on January 17, 2019.
