Islamabad (Staff Report): Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday assured Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) that the federal government will extend every possible cooperation for resolution of problems faced by the people of Karachi and Hyderabad.
A delegation of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) called on Prime Minister Imran Khan and discussed political situation including the upcoming presidential elections.
They also discussed problems faced by Sindh province especially the people in Karachi and Hyderabad.
The MQM delegation included Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Dr Farogh Naseem, Aminul Haq, Kanwar Naveed, Nasreen Jalil and Mayor Karachi Wasim Akhtar.
Later on Friday, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail also called on Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The PM expressed the resolve to extend full cooperation to further improve law and order situation in Karachi.
Imran Khan said he is cognizant of the problems faced by the people of Karachi. He said it is a matter of concern that some areas in Karachi like important city lacks basic amenities.
The PM assured that the PTI government is committed to extend cooperation for the resolution of the problems faced by the people of Karachi.
