Chakwal (Web Desk): Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said that the recent floods severely affected Punjab, but unfortunately, other provinces politicized this human tragedy. She was speaking at a ceremony in Chakwal where laptops were being distributed.
She said, "The biggest flood in history struck, but the Punjab government also conducted the biggest relief operation in history." The Chief Minister added that Punjab is the only province where wheat and bread are affordable, and basic facilities are being provided. Those who do not have access to these facilities should question their own rulers.
She announced that this year, 125,000 students across the province will be given laptops to enable the youth to advance in the digital world. Additionally, she said Centers of Excellence schools are being established throughout Punjab to ensure quality education reaches everyone.
In her speech, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said, "A safe and peaceful Punjab is my dream, and we are taking practical steps in this direction." She further stated that after the establishment of the Crime Control Division (CCD), the crime rate in the province has significantly decreased, which is proof of the government's effective policies.
