Pakistani prisoners released from Malaysia land at Islamabad airport

Islamabad (Staff Report/Agencies): A flight carrying about 322 Pakistani prisoners, who were stranded in Malaysia due to the closure of airspace after completion of their jail terms in petty crimes, landed at the Islamabad Airport on Wednesday night.

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Sayed Zulfikar Bukhari received them at the airport.

Talking to media after welcoming the repatriated Pakistanis, Bukhari said Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed every institution to resolve the issue of Pakistani Diaspora on a priority basis, terming them the precious asset of the country.
