Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) candidates returned tickets back to party leadership and announced to contest elections as independent candidates.
According to details, PML-N leader and former deputy speaker of Punjab Assembly Sardar Sher Ali Gorchani from NA-193 and PP-293, his father Sardar Parvez Iqbal Gorchani from PP-294, Dr Hafeezur Rehman Dareshak from NA-194, while Yousaf Dareshak from PP-296 have returned back tickets to party leadership.
The candidates have filed a plea before the Returning Officer (RO) for the allotment of ‘jeep’ symbol.
All the candidates did this according to plan so that PML-N cannot bring alternate candidates in these constituencies.
