Islamabad (Web Desk): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar spoke by telephone with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan to exchange views on the latest regional and international developments, with the escalating situation in Palestine topping the agenda.

During the conversation, both leaders voiced profound concern over Israel’s continuing military campaign in Gaza and the Occupied West Bank, repeated incursions and violations at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied East Jerusalem, and the deepening humanitarian crisis facing the Palestinian population.

The two foreign ministers reaffirmed their steadfast support for the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights.

They also reviewed Jordan’s proposal to bring together Arab and Islamic countries for a joint meeting aimed at coordinating diplomatic initiatives and strengthening collective efforts in support of the Palestinian cause.
