Kartarpur (Web Desk): Floodwater has been successfully cleared from the premises of the Darbar Sahib Gurdwara in Kartarpur, paving the way for its reopening to Sikh pilgrims in the near future.

The restoration work was carried out on the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, with teams from Suthra Punjab and various government departments working continuously to restore the sanctity and cleanliness of the site.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz expressed her firm commitment to preserving religious landmarks and ensuring that Sikh yatrees are provided with the best possible facilities. She praised the collaborative efforts of all teams involved and reiterated the government’s dedication to safeguarding cultural and spiritual heritage.

The shrine, a place of deep reverence for the Sikh community, is expected to welcome visitors again soon, following the swift and coordinated clean-up operation.
