Lahore (Web Desk): Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari has said that under the vision of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, rule of law will be ensured across the province and no area will remain a “no-go zone” in Punjab.

Addressing a press conference in Lahore, she shared key developments regarding the ongoing operation in the riverine (Kacha) areas.

She said that the Kacha region has been cleared in a successful operation, adding that due to government pressure and effective strategy, outlaws in the area have surrendered their weapons.

Azma Bokhari stated that “Kacha will no longer remain Kacha; we will make it Pakka,” referring to efforts to develop infrastructure and establish permanent state control in the region.

She further added that the government is pursuing a zero-tolerance policy against criminals, and anyone challenging the writ of the state will not be allowed to operate.

She also said that residents of the Kacha areas will now benefit from security and development under state protection.
