Hong Kong (Web Desk): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar arrived in Hong Kong on Thursday to participate in the signing ceremony of the International Organization for Mediation (IOMed).
Upon his arrival in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China, DPM Dar was welcomed at the airport by Dr. Cheung Kwok-kwan, the Deputy Secretary for Justice of Hong Kong, Pakistan’s Ambassador to China Khalil Hashmi, and the Consul General of Pakistan in Hong Kong, Riaz Ahmed Sheikh.
During his two-day visit, DPM Dar will engage in several bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the signing ceremony.
Pakistan has officially joined IOMed as one of its founding members. The country has expressed firm support for the organization’s objectives, highlighting the importance of mediation and the peaceful resolution of international disputes as essential elements of its foreign policy approach.
