Karachi (Web Desk): Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, held an interactive session with students and faculty at the University of Karachi on Thursday.

He was greeted warmly on arrival by university officials and students before engaging in a detailed discussion session.
During the exchange, members of the faculty and student body voiced their resolve to stand shoulder to shoulder with Pakistan’s armed forces in the protection of national security.

Speakers from the academic side underlined the dangers of circulating unverified information, noting that the spread of unchecked claims without proper research can create confusion and instability within society.

They stressed the importance of responsible communication, particularly in an age dominated by digital platforms.
Participants also observed that the Pakistan Army’s outreach to educational institutions plays a constructive role in shaping young minds, building confidence among students, and encouraging a sense of national responsibility.

Students shared their willingness to contribute positively to the country’s defense in their own capacity, including challenging false or misleading narratives circulating on social media.

They thanked the DG ISPR for what they described as an informative and thought-provoking discussion on the need to remain alert against misinformation and disinformation campaigns online.
