Islamabad (Agencies): Foreign Office spokesperson Aisha Farooqui on Wednesday said that two mortar shells were fired into Pakistan from the Afghanistan territory.
No casualties were reported, she added.
After the incident, Pakistan temporarily closed the Pak-Afghan crossing at Torkham.
"The matter is being coordinated with Afghan authorities," the FO spokesperson said in a statement, adding that the gate is likely to be opened soon.
