Pakistan announces squad for ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup

Lahore (Web Desk): The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has unveiled a 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2025, set to take place in Malaysia from January 18 to February 2, 2025. The tournament will feature 16 teams and will be played across four groups, with Pakistan drawn in Group B alongside England, Ireland, and the USA.

The tournament will follow a round-robin group stage, with the top three teams from each group advancing to the Super Six League. Teams’ points earned in the group stage will carry over to the Super Six stage, where the top two teams from each group will progress to the semi-finals. The final will take place on February 2, 2025, in Kuala Lumpur.

The Pakistan squad will gather for a training camp at the Hanif Mohammad High-Performance Centre in Karachi from December 31 to January 9, after which the team will depart for Malaysia on January 10 via Dubai.

This is the first edition of the U19 Women’s T20 World Cup, and Pakistan will be aiming to put up a strong performance against their group rivals as they vie for a spot in the knockout rounds.

January 20: Pakistan vs England

January 22: Pakistan vs Ireland
