Abudhabi (Staff Report): Sri Lanka rode on a magnificent century by skipper Dinesh Chandimal to post a big 419 against Pakistan on the second day of the first Test in Abu Dhabi on Friday.

On first day, leg-spinner Yasir Shah tore into the Sri Lankan top-order batting during the first session of the first Test at Abu Dhabi.

Yasir Shah broke Waqar Younis' record of fastest Pakistani to bag 150 Test wickets with two fast wickets during the opening session, slowing down Sri Lanka. Hasan Ali bowled out opener Silva, handing Pakistan the first breakthrough of the session.

Middle-order batsman Haris Sohail is making his Test debut for Pakistan today, while the match is also Sarfraz Ahmed's first Test as captain after Misbah's retirement earlier this year.

Sri Lanka were 111-3 off 49.2 overs.

Earlier, Sri Lanka's skipper Dinesh Chandimal won the toss and opted to bat first.
