Lahore (Web Desk): The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Sunday announced the 15-member squads for the upcoming white-ball tours to Australia and Zimbabwe. This announcement features a mix of seasoned players and fresh talent, including eight uncapped players who will make their international debuts.

Among the new faces are Aamir Jamal, Arafat Minhas, Faisal Akram, Haseebullah, Muhammad Irfan Khan Niazi, Saim Ayub, Jahandad Khan, and Salman Ali Agha. Notably, Salman Ali Agha and

Jahandad Khan are set to debut in T20 internationals, while Saim Ayub, Aamir Jamal, Arafat Minhas, Faisal Akram, Haseebullah, and Muhammad Irfan Khan Niazi will all make their ODI debuts.

Key players such as Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Naseem Shah have been included in the squads for the Australia series but will be rested for the matches in Zimbabwe. Mohammad Rizwan will participate in both tours but will also take a break from the T20 matches in Zimbabwe.

The PCB noted that the selection was heavily influenced by domestic performances, adhering to a rotation policy that seeks to provide opportunities to local talent. This strategy aligns with the PCB's preparations for the ICC Champions Trophy and future competitions.

Several players, including wicketkeeper-batsman Haseebullah, fast bowler Haris Rauf, and all-rounders Muhammad Irfan Khan Niazi and Salman Ali Agha, have been selected for both the Australia and Zimbabwe tours.

Notably, Kamran Ghulam, Omair Bin Yousuf, and Sufyan Moqim will make their national team debuts; Kamran previously served as a concussion substitute in an ODI, while Omair and Sufyan had earlier appearances in T20Is.

Mohammad Hasnain has earned his spot back in the ODI squad following a standout performance in the Champions One-Day Cup last month.

The PCB's approach to squad selection reflects a commitment to nurturing domestic talent while maintaining a competitive edge in international cricket.
