Lahore (Web Desk): The match, played at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, saw Bangladesh bowled out for 164 runs while chasing a target of 203 set by Pakistan.

Hassan Ali was the star performer for Pakistan, taking five wickets. Shadab Khan took two wickets, while Khushdil Shah, Faheem Ashraf, and Salman Ali Agha took one wicket each.

Bangladesh captain Litton Das scored 48 runs before getting out. Jakir Ali contributed 36 runs, and Tanzid Hasan added 31 runs.

Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first. The home team scored 201 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their 20 overs. Captain Salman Ali Agha top-scored with 56 runs, Shadab Khan scored 48, and Hasan Nawaz contributed 44 runs.

For Bangladesh, Shoriful Islam took two wickets, while Mahedi Hasan, Hasan, Tanzim Hasan, Rishad, and Shamim claimed one wicket each.

After the toss, Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha expressed confidence in his team’s form and said, “All players are in good form, and we have decided to bat first. We hope the players will meet expectations.”

Bangladesh captain Litton Das said, “We will play a new style of cricket at this venue. If we had won the toss, we would have chosen to bowl first.”
