Pakistan, UAE presidents vow to further strengthen bilateral relations

Abu Dhabi (Web Desk): President Asif Ali Zardari held a high-level meeting with United Arab Emirates (UAE) President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi, where both leaders engaged in wide-ranging discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between their countries.

During the meeting, the two leaders reviewed all aspects of bilateral cooperation and discussed measures to further strengthen the long-standing and brotherly relations between Pakistan and the UAE.

They reviewed existing collaboration and looked ahead to new possibilities in trade, investment, energy, infrastructure, technology, and closer people-to-people engagement.

The two sides acknowledged that there is considerable room to expand economic collaboration and build a more robust strategic relationship. They also discussed important regional and global issues.
In this context, the two leaders reaffirmed their shared commitment to supporting peace, stability, and sustainable growth both within the region and beyond.

President Zardari emphasized the value of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s recent trip to Pakistan, noting that the visit had played a meaningful role in further deepening mutual understanding and cooperation.

The meeting was attended by First Lady Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, and Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE.v
