Lahore (Web Desk): Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has hailed the youth as the country’s most valuable asset, emphasizing that the provincial government is committed to empowering the next generation through a model rooted in “maternal care.”

She noted that with the province’s rapidly growing population, providing government jobs to every individual is not feasible, making it essential to equip young people with practical skills.

Speaking at the launch ceremony of the Parwaaz Card, Raah-e-Rozgar, and various skill development programs, Maryam Nawaz said that just as parents invest in their children’s education and economic future, the government is dedicating resources to turn the youth into a “powerful asset” for society.

She stressed that instead of relying solely on government employment, young people are being encouraged to acquire technical and vocational skills that will enable them to achieve self-sufficiency.

The Punjab CM urged the youth to move beyond the confines of their homes after completing modern courses and training and actively participate in the workforce, contributing meaningfully to the economy.

Maryam Nawaz said that the new cards and loan schemes introduced by the Punjab government aim to remove obstacles to entrepreneurship and employment for young people.

The Punjab CM reaffirmed provincial government’s commitment to youth development, asserting that a skilled and capable generation is the cornerstone of a prosperous Punjab.
