PSL-7: Peshawar Zalmi win toss, opt to field first against Quetta Gladiators

Karachi (Web Desk): Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and decided to field first against Quetta Gladiators in the second match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL-7) at the National Stadium in Karachi on Friday.

Sarfaraz Ahmed is leading Quetta Gladiators while former Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik will captain the Zalmi in today's match as Wahab Riaz has been ruled out of the match after testing positive for COVID-19.

Kamran Akmal, and Hazratullah Zazai of Zalmi are also currently in isolation after his test for COVID-19 came back positive.

The two teams have so far faced each other in 17 matches and Zalmi have a small edge with nine victories against Quetta Gladiators' eight.

Four matches have been played between the two teams at the National Stadium, with each team claiming two victories.
