Mumbai (Web Desk): Renowned Bollywood filmmaker and producer Karan Johar has revealed that loyalty is in short supply in the film industry. In a recent interview with Indian media, he spoke about the constant movement of actors and the challenges of maintaining long-term professional relationships.
Johar said that actors often switch from one talent agency to another every two years because they feel insecure and believe they are not permanently rooted in one place. “No one in this business is truly loyal,” he added, “actors keep moving from one team to another.”
Without naming anyone specifically, Johar explained that after investing two years in nurturing a talent, it is common for them to suddenly move elsewhere. Sometimes, they do not adapt to the new environment and seek to return to their original team.
According to media reports, Johar’s remarks come a few months after actress Janhvi Kapoor left Dharma Productions and joined the Collective Artist Network, highlighting the ongoing trend of talent mobility in Bollywood.
