Lahore (Web Desk): The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced domestic contracts for a total of 65 women cricketers for the 2025-26 season. For the first time, these contracts have been divided into two distinct categories: Gold and Silver. Twenty players have been awarded Gold contracts, while forty-five have been placed in the Silver category.
These contracts will remain in effect from July 2025 to June 2026, covering a period that includes various domestic and Under-19 tournaments.
The contracts have been awarded not only to players who performed well in previous domestic competitions but also to those who have demonstrated promise and potential in their respective skill areas.
The selection process was overseen by the Women’s National Selection Committee, which includes former Test cricketer Asad Shafiq and former Pakistan international Batool Fatima. Their recommendations formed the basis for selecting the 65 contracted players.
The PCB emphasized that players not included in this list can still earn a place in future domestic contract lists by delivering strong performances in upcoming domestic events and regional academy camps.
This approach is intended to maintain competitive standards and offer emerging talent the opportunity to rise through the ranks.
The PCB has now awarded domestic contracts for women cricketers for the third year in a row, showing its ongoing commitment to developing a stronger player pool at both the pathway and domestic levels.
Gold contracts (20 players)
The 20 players awarded Gold contracts include Anam Amin (Lahore), Anosha Nasir (Karachi), Ayesha Zafar (Lahore), Dua Majid (Lahore), Ghulam Fatima (Lahore), Gull Rukh (Dera Ghazi Khan), Hafsa Khalid (Karachi), Huraina Sajjad (Karachi), Iram Javed (Lahore), Kaynat Hafeez (Lahore), Mahnoor Aftab (Peshawar), Neelam Mushtaq (Lahore), Noreen Yaqoob (Lahore), Saima Malik (Quetta), Saira Jabeen (Chitral), Tania Saeed (Rawalpindi), Tasmia Rubab (Jhang), Yusra Amir (Karachi), Zaib-un-Nisa (Charsadda), and Zunash Abdul Sattar (Lahore).
Silver contracts (45 players)
The silver contracts have been granted to 45 players, including 23 classified as Under-19 or emerging talent. The senior players in this category are Aleena Masood (Khanewal), Amber Kainat (Lahore), Areesha Noor (Lahore), Ayesha Bilal (Lahore), Fatima Khan (Lahore), Fatima Shahid (Lahore), Fatima Zahra (Rawalpindi), Humna Bilal (Rawalpindi), Khadija Chishti (Lahore), Laiba Mansoor (Rawalpindi), Maham Manzoor (Hyderabad), Momina Riasat (Abbottabad), Muqadas Bukhari (Okara), Neha Sharmin Nadeem (Karachi), Noor-ul-Iman (Bahawalpur), Rabia Rani (Dera Ismail Khan), Rida Aslam (Muzaffarabad), Saiqa Riaz (Lahore), Sana Urooj (Karachi), Shabnam Hayat (Karachi), Soha Fatima (Lahore), and Syeda Masooma Zahra (Karachi).
