Gold price reduces by Rs1,600 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24-karat gold experienced a decline of Rs1,600, settling at Rs347,100 per tola on Monday, compared to Rs348,700 on the previous trading day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA).

The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs1,368, reaching Rs297,582 from the previous Rs298,950. The value of 10-gram 22-karat gold also saw a decrease, falling to Rs272,784 from Rs274,047.

Meanwhile, silver prices remained stable, with the per tola rate holding steady at Rs3,497 and the per 10-gram rate unchanged at Rs2,998.

In the global market, gold prices witnessed a minor reduction of $16, closing at $3,289 per ounce, down from $3,305. Silver, on the other hand, remained unchanged at $32.97 per ounce.
