New York: Kashmiris, Pakistanis, Sikhs and other minorities staged a massive protest in New York during Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's address to the virtual session of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly.

The protesters raised slogans against PM Modi and demanded the world powers to stop Modi and extremist Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from committing violation of human rights in Kashmir and India.

The protesters said that the extremist Modi government was pursuing a policy of genocide of Kashmiris and the Indian armed forces were martyring unarmed and innocent Kashmiris.

Protesters held placards and banners with slogans against India and in favor of the Kashmir Independence Movement and Khalistan.

Supporters of Independent Kashmir exposed Indian government’s conspiracy of turning majority of Kashmiris people into minority in the valley.

They called on the international community to stop the Nazi Modi and the extremist BJP from committing serious human rights violations not only in occupied Kashmir but also in the whole of India.
