Mecca (Web Desk): The atmosphere echoed with the chants of “Labbaik Allahumma Labbaik” as millions of pilgrims from around the world spent the night in the tent city of Mina engaged in prayers, worship, and supplication under the open sky. After offering Fajr prayers, the pilgrims began their journey towards the plains of Arafat to perform Wuquf-e-Arafah, the most significant pillar of Hajj.

Pilgrims will listen to the Hajj sermon at Masjid al-Namirah, after which Zuhr and Asr prayers will be offered together in the plains of Arafat. From midday until sunset, worshippers will remain immersed in prayers, repentance, and seeking forgiveness from Allah. Wuquf at Arafat is regarded as the central and most essential ritual of Hajj.

Following sunset, the pilgrims will proceed to Muzdalifah without offering Maghrib prayers, where Maghrib and Isha prayers will be combined and the night will be spent under the open sky.

Meanwhile, the Saudi authorities have implemented strict security and administrative arrangements to ensure the safety, comfort, and smooth movement of pilgrims so they can perform their Hajj rituals peacefully.
