Lahore (Web Desk): Quetta Gladiators won the toss and decided to field first against Karachi Kings in the second match of the eleventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 11) at Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium on Friday.
The two sides have locked horns 20 times in the league, with Quetta enjoying the upper hand through 13 wins, while Karachi have come out on top on seven occasions.
Their previous encounter, also held at the same venue during the last edition, saw the Gladiators secure a narrow five-run win.
Heading into this match, both teams carry different momentum from their recent campaigns. Quetta had an impressive run in the previous season, finishing as runners-up, whereas Karachi’s journey ended at the playoff stage.
In terms of recent form, the Gladiators have claimed victory in four of their last five games, while the Kings have registered three wins in their last three matches, adding further intrigue to the contest.
