Gold price increases by Rs3,200 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24-karat gold saw a significant surge, rising by Rs3,200 to reach Rs321,000 per tola on Thursday, compared to Rs317,800 in the previous session.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association, the cost of 10 grams of 24-karat gold climbed by Rs2,743, reaching Rs275,205, up from Rs272,462.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold witnessed an increase of Rs2,515, settling at Rs252,280, compared to Rs249,765 in the prior trading day.

Meanwhile, silver prices also experienced upward movement. The price of per tola silver rose by Rs105 to Rs3,580, while the cost of 10 grams of silver climbed by Rs90, reaching Rs3,069.

In the international market, gold prices advanced by $31, moving from $3,021 to $3,052 per ounce, while silver prices edged up by $1.00, rising to $34.10 per ounce from $33.10.
