California (Web Desk): Although numerous companies manufacture smartphones, Apple’s iPhones are widely considered among the most distinctive and highly anticipated devices worldwide.
Millions of users eagerly wait for the launch of new iPhone models every year, and this time the company is expected to introduce the iPhone 18 series on September 9.
Alongside the new iPhones, Apple is also likely to reveal the Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra, HomePod mini, iPod, and Apple TV during the event.
This year’s launch is expected to bring a major change in Apple’s traditional iPhone release strategy. According to various leaks, the company may introduce the iPhone 18 and iPhone 18 Pro Max along with its first-ever foldable smartphone, which is expected to be called the iPhone Ultra.
However, the standard iPhone 18 and iPhone Air 2 models are reportedly expected to arrive in early 2027.
The foldable iPhone is likely to become Apple’s most expensive smartphone, with its price expected to exceed $2,000.
Meanwhile, a Bloomberg report has suggested that Apple may increase the prices of the iPhone 18 Pro lineup.
The company had avoided raising iPhone prices with the launch of the iPhone 17 series last year, but this time a price hike is reportedly under consideration.
While the exact increase has not been confirmed, reports suggest that the iPhone 18 Pro could become around $100 more expensive.
If the prediction proves accurate, the starting price of the iPhone 18 Pro may rise from $1,099 to $1,199.
The report added that the expected price increase could be linked to higher costs of RAM and other components used in the devices.
