Karachi (Web Desk): Gold prices in Pakistan have witnessed a significant rise once again, with rates climbing sharply in the local bullion markets. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola has increased by Rs. 1,000, bringing the new rate to Rs. 361,700 per tola.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold has also surged by Rs. 857, now standing at Rs. 310,099.

Market analysts attribute this price hike to fluctuations in the international gold market, depreciation of the Pakistani rupee against the US dollar, and a growing trend among investors turning to gold as a safe-haven asset.

This upward trend has raised concerns among the general public, particularly those preparing for weddings and other major life events, as the increased cost of gold adds further financial strain. Citizens are urging the government to take concrete measures to stabilize gold prices in the local market.
