Karachi (Staff Report/Agencies): Major General Omer Ahmed Bukhari assumed charge as Director General (DG) of Pakistan Rangers Sindh on Saturday.
According to details, a ceremony was held at the Rangers Headquarters in this regards.
The outgoing DG, Major General Muhammad Saeed, handed over the command to Major General Bukhari.
Major General Omer Bukhari, who took charge as the 14th director general of Sindh Rangers, was recently promoted from the rank of brigadier to major general.
Meanwhile, Major General Bukhari and Major General Saeed met Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.
According to the Sindh CM's spokesperson Rasheed Channa, the chief minister appreciated Major General Saeed's services and welcomed the new DG Rangers.
